SEFANN
SEFANN, the Southeast Florida Association of Neonatal Nurses, the local NANN Chapter, was established in January 1994 as a local leader in neonatal nursing education and community service. The South Florida neonatal nursing professionals join SEFANN to keep up to date with the latest developments in the field as well as to enjoy networking with the community of Neonatal Nurses from Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties.

We want to thank everyone who was a part of Friday's Conference Event. We had such a great day with everyone and we are already making plans for next year in the Spring!

Summer Events:
At our July Dinner meeting...Sponsored by Vashe from Urgo Medical had great reviews! At the August SEFANN meeting, we talked about how great the menu options were. Several attendees commented on the great speaker, Dr. Carol Marshall and how she was so engaging and made a great case for use of Vashe in the NICU to reduce infection rates in our newborns safely. Also, our host, Michelle was exceptional in coordinating the event and creating a meaningful and fun night out for our nurses.

GENERAL
What is Mentor Matching?
Mentor Matching is the latest addition to an expanding line-up of our services to support members’ professional development needs. It is an online tool – including a searchable database – that facilitates the establishment of mentoring relationships. It is user-driven, allowing registered Proteges to search among registered Mentors using specified criteria to find individuals whose experience and expertise match areas in which they wish to be mentored. Likewise, registered Mentors can search for and identify potential Proteges.
Is there a fee associated with using Mentor Matching?
Mentor Matching is a benefit of membership and is available only to members. There is no extra charge to use this resource.
